Wanted: Rock Star Team Member

We have a Rock Star Team and we are looking for our next "Rock-Star Team Member" - someone who has a service-oriented frame of mind even before they've had their coffee; someone who enjoys learning something new every day, but also can manage the routine work that must be done to keep our business running; and someone who is motivated by their desire do the highest quality work in order to serve our clients.

Who should apply for this job?

The person we hire will have great time-management and task management skills. This job will require excellence in the following sorts of work:

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Organizing information received through email, loading that information onto our systems quickly and accurately;
  • Meeting with clients to assess their needs and gather information necessary to assist them;
  • Drafting documents;
  • Meeting with clients to review and sign documents;
  • Weekly bank deposits and picking up/dropping off paper work at the Court and County offices;
  • Communicating politely, respectfully, and professionally, in a clear and concise manner, with our team members, our clients, and other professionals;
  • Assembling documents and information in ways that make it useful to others; and
  • Completing other projects, as requested.

Some of these tasks will need to be completed simultaneously and precisely. Therefore, the person we hire must have impeccable attention to detail.

The person we hire will be self-reliant. This person will ask questions but will never make excuses.

The person we hire will be very comfortable working on a computer using the Internet, and generally can find a way to get something done. This person will also need a valid drivers license and reliable transportation.

Most importantly, the person we hire will approach every part of this job with an open mind and have a willingness to learn "our way" of doing things.

Who are we?

We are a small law firm in a beautiful town in the Sierra Nevada foothills that helps people protect their assets through estate planning, including protecting assets from being exhausted with nursing home costs, and helps families work through the process of administering estates after their loved one has died.

We have a very active practice and rarely have “slow days”. Our firm is well-established and growing. We value our reputation and put a great deal of emphasis on excellent client service and dedicated, loyal teamwork. We offer an open and positive work environment, and we want our team members to reach their own goals and dreams.

Our office hours are Monday through Thursday. We are closed on Fridays.

How much will money will this person make?

Wages will be discussed during the hiring process and will be in line with what is paid in our area. We have a retirement plan program that will be made available when you become eligible.
